Cedar top, makori laminated back and sides, rope bindings, mahogany neck.   Accents of green in the rosette and tailpiece.  This guitar has a wonderful old school tone.  Loud,  responsive and capable of a wide variety of tone.

Besides its beautiful color and grain, one of the nice things about makori for laminated back and sides is it available in old time 1/30″ thick veneer.  Almost all veneers today are 1/42″.    Thicker veneer allows for three layers instead of four and a little more thickness for level sanding of the exteriors.   With 1/42″ veneers one has to be very careful or even compromise fairness.
