This was my first attempt at a guitar in the style of Jacques Castelluccia, the Parisian builder of great gypsy guitars in the 1940s and 50s.  I have had the pleasure of documenting three of his D hole guitars that have been through my shop for repairs.    This one turned out well with a  huge voice and great sustain.  Engleman spruce top, Makori (African Cherry) back and sides, Honduras mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, Grover tuners.
